Flooding Camps

This one seems to show that common sense isn’t that common. After all, how did so many people manage to predict what was about to happen? This collective failure is truly bewildering.

We hope that everyone who went camping managed to escape to a safe location in the nick of time and their family and loved ones were all safe and sound. This teaches us that when you go out in the wild, you should be prepared to tackle such tricky situations. Usually, those don’t include flooding but well, who knows!

Or, these were floating camps that just failed to work in the end, leaving everyone wet.

Baby Camps

This photo makes it seem like the mama camp and the papa camp had a small baby camp, and this guy got hold of it somehow. It cannot even fit this man’s head, let alone the whole body.

Or, maybe it was meant for the beverages, who knows! Camping is fun and all but it can be a lot of trouble as well, depending on how well prepared you are.

Honestly, the cute camp looks like a perfect fit for a small baby. You can then keep the setup inside your larger tent. Excellent idea, not bad at all.

Portable Toilet

We all get it. You’re trying to be decent and civilized at all places, including when you’re camping, but when one goes ahead and uses a bucket along with a toilet seat along with a tissue roll, they are taking things too far.

Forests have ample cover for you to get the job done and wipe things clean with a tissue roll.

Even if someone does see you getting the business done, they’re not going to think you’re from the stone age! They know campers relieve themselves in the wild.

Hang Tight

Camping usually includes a few simple things like a lakeside, riverbank, forest, and definitely some mosquitoes. And the tent, yes! Well, what this gentleman in the photo is doing isn’t in any way close to what we know as camping.

Not only does this guy manage to reach a place on a rocky mountain that looks impossible to reach, but he has also somehow managed to place a tent that is hanging off the cliff!

He looks confident about that tent – we certainly don’t. Even if one of the fasteners is not used properly, he will end up in the abyss. But the thing is, he probably knows how to handle this kind of camping, as he seems to be enjoying a cup of coffee without worrying about anything.

Camping in the 50s

Farm Girl Jen is an incredibly popular blogger, who is fifty years old and yet continues to go camping and inspire others to do the same.

While she doesn’t look like a camper, she is quite an experienced one and does everything – from driving sports cars to hiking and pulling tractors.

This woman is a living legend who has proved time and again that age isn’t significant if you love life. She also advocates healthy living and believes you can start living one the moment you want, and that it is never too late to do it.

Honestly, we cannot figure out how they achieved this. It looks amazing with that small campfire and the woman trying to keep her hands warm. The moment you spot her wearing those goggles is when you figure out what this is all about. Impressive!

Knocked Over

Camping is fun, but only when the weather is on your side. If the wind speed is too high, you’ll find yourself chasing the tent like a kid chasing a kite! Also, this happens more to people who do not take factors like the wind into account.

We cannot blame people. There are countless tents on Amazon that people think all of them are the same when that’s untrue. If the material of the tent isn’t strong enough, your tent will fail to survive the onslaught of wind.

As you can see, this gentleman’s tent was knocked over by the wind. While the tent is still on the ground, you can hardly say it serves a purpose anymore. Or, maybe it is too judgmental of us and this guy has set up his tent precisely this way, who knows?

We Know What Happened Three Decades Ago

Digital cameras are a recent phenomenon, but this happened when people loved to go out camping even more, and this woman had an experience that she cannot forget ever. She decided to camp alone out in the wild. She set up a tent and went off to sleep when there were weird noises right outside her camp.

Obviously, she was scared and didn’t want to step out. After all, it could’ve been a giant animal that would have ended her life! Instead, the lady grabbed her film camera, put out her hand, and clicked this photograph.

Naturally, she didn’t get any sleep that night, nor could she step out of her tent to see it for herself. The photos were printed a few weeks later and she then saw this!
