That Isn’t Camping, Fellas

Camping is supposed to be an exercise that allows us to leave the comforts of the modern world behind and unwind in the lap of nature. It is all about unwinding and reconnecting to connect with oneself. However, these teens seem to have no idea of what camping is, as each one of them is busy on a smartphone!

They could have used their phones at home – there wasn’t any need to go camping for that!

One should let go of all the gadgets for a while and just enjoy the nature around us. You can use the gadgets when you’re back home, anyway.

Your Majesty Has Paid You A Visit

This photo clearly shows that the person wasn’t ready to welcome the king of the forest when his highness is out on a visit to meet the campers! In fact, the man doesn’t even have proper clothes on while meeting royalty.

Honestly, the look on this man’s face clearly shows that he believes he should have put this tent up at a different spot.

Although the picture looks scary, we’re sure no human beings were harmed while capturing this amazing photo.

Kite or Tent?

Another person who fell victim to high-speed winds is this person. It seems there are very few people who realize that winds in the wild are often strong and in order to keep the tents in place, you need to use tents made out of strong materials.

We don’t think he is going to get hold of that tent anytime soon, but we do hope the tent got stuck in some trees and the guy was able to get it back.

This is another reason why at least two people should go out on a camping trip so that one person can hold the thing down while the other sets it up. This is crucial if you are not an experienced camper.

Like A Boss

Well, it seems like there are a whole lot of us who cannot let go of modern luxuries even when they are out camping. This person is clearly used to better housing conditions, so he decided to set up a palace tent! Well, this must have taken hours to set this up, but the end result is quite impressive.

One this is certain – they wouldn’t have been able to set this up without instructions. In fact, they would have read the instructions properly a second time to set this thing up!

Who needs such a large tent, anyway? Is he some king who is exiled? Also, just notice the large number of straps that are required to hold that palace down! They should have just built the original thing in its place.

That Car Went A Bit Far

Most of us who have gone on a camping trip before know quite well that you are supposed to leave your car a bit far away from the camping trip. When you do not keep this in mind, this is what awaits you!

You possibly wouldn’t like to call any emergency service like AAA when you are out camping in the wild, but this person doesn’t seem to have a choice. We think he has learned his lessons finally and isn’t going to repeat this the second time.

A tip for this situation. If you find yourself stuck in a similar situation, never panic or go any further. Just calm down, take a deep breath, and think of possible help you may get. You will surely find a way!

Camping In The Water

Camping in a river? Well, that must be quite an experience, but we haven’t seen anyone do it before. Imagine the tranquility of calm waters and the soothing sound the stream makes as you wind down and relax. There isn’t anything more peaceful than that, is there? Well, we don’t think this camp was set up intentionally in the water.

This person must have set this up on the river bank and the water just washed it down. This is precisely why you set up your tent at least a few meters away from the river edge.

That said, we don’t think there is any strong wave so they can enjoy this experience for as long as they can.

It’ll Take Some Time To Cook

That is the worst cooking stove we have seen on a camping trip ever, and believe us when we say we have been lucky enough to see some of the weirdest ones! That isn’t even a proper stove. That’s just a steel thing with hot charcoal thrown in there, which, if you have camped before, will know that it wouldn’t even keep your coffee warm, let alone cook something from scratch.

So, just forget eating for a while. That thing would not cook anything.

Honestly, people should do their homework before they get out there to camp in the wild. They could have used a bonfire to cook their food. These crazy things look great on a fancy website but when you are hungry and desperately need some food, it looks like nothing but wasted money.

Gone With The Wind

One thing certain about nature is that it is uncertain. We should be ready to deal with any circumstance that comes up while we are camping. You may have heard dozens of stories where tents just flew away with the wind and ended up as kites in the sky – that happens a lot more often than you think! And it happens to people who do not take their tent stakes!

This is like the first rule of camping, guys! You shouldn’t ignore the stakes, as it allows your tent to stay fixed on the ground. If you do not use it, you can return from a walk to see your tent fly away like a kite.

We hope this dude learned this lesson and never forgot to use tent stakes the next time. If you notice strong winds, always use stakes and fix your tent properly.

Camping Happiness

Honestly, we never knew ‘bored to death’ meant this! No, no. We don’t mean camping is boring – in fact, it is perhaps the most fun activity to do. But, it is fun when you are out in the wilderness with ethereal scenery all around.

These folks do not have proper bodies, but it seems they are enjoying themselves to the fullest!

We can’t say if this was a Halloween thing or someone with a crazy sense of humor set this up in front of their neighbor’s house, the camping location does look stunning. And scary.

Wreckage

We wouldn’t blame you if you thought that this was done by some animal that attacked this tent at night and destroyed the whole thing. It looks that way. But the truth is, it was caused by a storm.

You can keep the wild animals away by having a campfire burning, but you cannot have much control over a storm when it passes by your campsite. This couple thought it would be a great idea to camp on this stunning beach, and ended up this way.

But honestly, who wouldn’t want to pitch up a tent and stay a night in this place? It looks surreal and seems quite calm, especially when strong winds are not around.
