These 17 Celebrities Were Outcast From Hollywood’s Huge Flicks (3 of 4)

Eric Stoltz from Back to the Future

Eric Stoltz, Forehead, Smile, Cheek, Eye, Human body, Flash photography, Happy, Gesture

Remember how sometimes less is considered more? Well, Eric didn’t realize this and took the part he was playing in Back to the Future too seriously. This not only created problems for the rest of the cast and irked them but also drove all the fun charm out of the movie. It just couldn’t work with Stoltz going so methodically. We learned of this from Caseen Gaine’s We Don’t Need Roads, a book released based on the movie’s making. Hearing this we are just glad Michael Fox made it to the final casting and saved the movie from getting spoilt.

Meghan Fox from Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Megan Fox Story, Joint, Skin, Lip, Hairstyle, Eyebrow, Shoulder, Eyelash, Flash photography, Neck, Lipstick

As much as we love seeing Meghan on the big screen, she really needs to be cautious of what she says about those she works with. Meghan comparing Steven Spielberg, the movie’s executive producer, to Hitler cost her a role in Transformers. Steven wanted her fired right away as he got to know what she thinks of him. This tidbit was shared by the director Michael Bay to GQ.

Natalie Portman from Romeo + Juliet

Natalie Portman Oscars, Smile, Sleeve, Gesture

Natalie’s departure from one of the best romantic flicks of all time, Romeo + Juliet was mutually agreed upon by her, as well as the executives of 20th Century Fox. She told The New York Times that she was replaced because she looked too young for the character. In fact, the kissing scenes looked more like Leonardo molesting Natalie. The makers finalized Claire Danes opposite Leo who was older than her by 2 years.

Terrence Howard from Iron Man 2

Cole Sprouse Terrence Howard, Yellow

Terrence was sacked from Iron Man 2 on account of a financial dispute. He narrated the entire story when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Don Cheadle stepped in his shoes and is being loved equally much by the audience as War Machine. Terrence blamed Robert Downey Jr. for his firing. He went on to add that he had helped Robert build the character of Iron Man, but for the sequel, he decided to take even his share of the money and expelled him. Robert hasn’t yet commented on this allegation.

Colin Firth from Paddington

Colin Firth Oscar, Chin, Smile, Facial expression, Dress shirt, Bow tie, Coat

Paddington is one character that received more love than any fictional personality ever did.

Although the sequel to the same flick has earned the title of the greatest film ever, it would have been interesting to hear Colin voicing the bear. However, as per the director, Colin’s voice didn’t really match how they desired the bear to sound despite repeated trying. He needed it to be like that of a grown man’s, but deep and beautiful. Later, it was Ben Winshaw who lend voice to the iconic character. We are just glad this departure was mutual and didn’t lead to enmity between two professionals.
