15 Haunted Places to Visit Around The World (3 of 3)

Mystery Island, Vanuatu

This place looks like paradise yet is completely abandoned. The main reason for it being uninhabited is the fact that the locals believe that it’s haunted by a bunch of ghosts that only come out once the sunsets. If you think that’s weird, cruise ships and tourist boats don’t stay after dark as well. That’s probably a good reason to stay away.

Wall Of Tears Galapagos, Sky, Bedrock, Cloud

The Wall of Tears in Isabel Island, Galapagos

This wall was made by criminals back in the mid 1900s and the labor was so rough that it killed most of the criminals that were forced to build the wall. Locals say they still hear the cries of the men who worked on the wall from time to time. It seems kind of odd that building a 300-foot rock wall over a 15-year timespan would be arduous enough to kill multiple grown men, though.

Voergaard Castle in Denmark

This castle is apparently still haunted by the first owner – Ingeborg Skeel. She was accused of things like witchcraft and back in those days that was enough to warrant rumors of spirits and ghosts and other weird paranormal phenomena. They even summoned a priest to exorcise the castle after she had died.

Paris Catacombs, Wood

The Paris Catacombs in Paris, France

No ghosts or whatever here, this is literally just a 200-mile-long catacomb built out of the skulls and bones of human beings. According to calculations, the catacombs would hold the bones of about six million people. That’s a small country. Honestly, whenever the French go to war they should just wave around pictures of these catacombs and everyone would know they mean business.

Trinity College, Cloud, Sky, Plant

Bedlam Point in Sydney, Australia

Yay, a haunted psychiatric hospital! Naturally, this one was also known for some awful practices like shock therapy and they found over 1200 bodies buried underneath the hospital. If you need more reasons to believe this place is haunted, I’m not sure I can give you any. This is almost a perfect copy of a horror movie plotline.
