Enjoy a bonfire together
Summer nights are incomplete without bonfires. Plan and attend one of your friend’s bonfire parties with your date or make your own and invite over some of your friends for a great night. Or, you can even have your own night with just your date.
Super soaker or a water balloon fight
Revisit your childhood and enjoy a super soaker fight or a water balloon fight on a sunny summer day. If you have your own yard then this is a great date idea. Or, if you happen to have a park in your neighborhood, you can just fill up some water balloons and head out to the battle arena for an epic day.
Outdoor adventure
Depending on whether the two of you like adventures or not, you can plan some outdoor adventures such as canoeing or hiking date. Do a little research and find out some cool spots where you can head out for a great day amongst nature. You can enjoy a hike to the nearest waterfall, or rent a canoe. Whatever you finally choose, make sure there is ample sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and water to make the most of your day.
Visit a baseball game
If there’s a Major League Baseball game scheduled close to your town, do book tickets and head out for an awesome date with your partner. Irrespective of whether you enjoy the whole game or leave after some innings, you do end up enjoying the experience of watching this beautiful sport on a sunny day. So, get yourself a hotdog, put on your favorite baseball cap, and enjoy a thrilling game of baseball with your date.
Review ice cream in your neighborhood
Summers are incomplete without ice-creams. But how can you turn this into a date idea?
Just don the food critic hat for a day and head out with the bae in search of the best ice cream in town. You can even have a funny little scorecard where you can jot down the scores. Just be careful of how much you eat, though, and limit yourself to just five if there are a ton of ice cream stores in your area. Or, if you are not a big ice cream fan (seriously?!), you can try this out with other foods, like pizza.
