Potatoes
Foods that are high in starch—including all types of potatoes—should not be stored in the fridge because the starch is converted into sugar at cold temperatures, resulting in an unpleasantly sweet taste and a gritty texture. Furthermore, potatoes are prone to getting moldy when exposed to cold air.
