A lot of people don’t realize just how huge of an impact aerodynamics and wind resistance have on speed. Unless you ride bikes, it can honestly be pretty easy to forget. Driving in a car all the time, most people don’t even think about it. Why would they? Just put your foot down and the big metal box moves. Whereas on a bike, a bad headwind can turn your normal leisurely commute into a straight up muscle aching battle against the elements.
