GT Interactive launched the most significant game in the FPS gameplay in December 1993. Doom is dubbed to be a masterpiece and gamers must play it to realize its significance! It is still as fun to play as it was 25 years ago!

Launched by MicroProse, this game focused on starting a civilization and evolving it to fit into the modern era. The goal of the game was to expand one’s empire using diplomacy and force.
14. Diablo
It was released on 31 December 1996 by Blizzard Entertainment. The combat in this game was set in real time. It had a variety of experiences for all the players, where nobody could have the same story twice! Diablo also had an online multiplayer. This game was a landmark in the genre.
