2. Kim Cattrall

“Mannequin” was a pretty terrible movie. Excuse us, the Academy Award Nominated ”Mannequin” was a pretty terrible movie. Yes, this Cattrall-led film was nominated for Best Original Song thanks to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Starship. Had nothing to do with her. Baby Geniuses is another one of her movies, and it’s regarded as one of the worst of all time. But she did redeem herself when she took on the role of Samantha in the HBO hit “Sex and the City” at the age of 42, winning her only Golden Globe Award in the process.

3. Danny Trejo

Trejos took a pretty unconventional route into Hollywood. Living a life of dysfunction basically from birth — he was the product of an extramarital affair that his mother had — he got into all sorts of drug-related trouble and spent much of his younger years behind bars. He eventually got sober and at the age of 40 accidentally landed a role in 1983’s “Runaway Train” after initially being asked to help with cocaine problems on the set. He has since acted in around 300 movies, with perhaps his role as the vampire bartender in Quinten Tarratino’s “From Dusk Till Dawn” being his most notable.
