Like a few on this list, this singer only altered his age slightly. It was documented in 2007 that at the time he was 33 years old, however in 2010, he reportedly claimed to be 33 yet again. There have been several instances of this over the years by him too all resulting in some quirked eyebrows.
Whoopi Goldberg
In 1986 Whoopi Goldberg admitted to The Washington Post that she lied about her age to get certain roles. In this case she made herself appear older. At the time, she was believed to be 35 despite actually being 30 (making her about 65 today).
Laurence Fishburne
When he auditioned for Apocalypse Now, Laurence Fishburne was only 14 years old and his role was to play a 18-year-old character. At the time, he lied, stating he was 16, and it worked, since he landed that role.
During his appearance on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, he’s said the director for the movie probably knew his actual age, but clearly didn’t care much about it.
Eminem
In 1999, Eminem made an appearance on Howard Stern’s Show and stated to the audience he was 24. In reality he was 27 years old making him 48 years old at present.
