7 Delicious Diet Desserts

We have all known the struggle of trying to follow a diet and really wanting to stay for dessert after dinner. It seems almost impossible, because desserts are often sweet in nature and there’s pretty much no diet on the planet that tells you to eat sugar without limits. So, how do we satisfy our sweet tooth without ruining all our hard work of dieting?

Well, there are a few desserts out there that won’t ruin your diet entirely. Let’s take a look at some of the tastiest ones.

Vegan Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Yes, there’s no such thing as good, tasty ice cream without the fats and sugars. That’s why this recipe doesn’t actually use ice cream, but it just involves blending frozen bananas to the point where it has that creamy texture we all crave. You’ll probably want to freeze the banana slices for about two hours before attempting this. Then just add some peanut butter to it and enjoy your diet-proof feast!

Honey Baked Pears

If you’re really struggling for time or can’t be bothered to cut up your pears, you can even do this with the canned variant. Nothing beats the taste of some fresh pears, though. Just drizzle your pear halves with plenty of honey so it pools slightly and add some cinnamon on top. Pop them in the oven for about 25 minutes and there you have it – a sweet and delicious dessert!

Indoor S’Mores

I know what you’re thinking: there’s no way s’mores can be made diet-proof. There are a lot of things you can do to lower the fat and sugar in s’mores though, like using sugar-free chocolate. Using low-fat crackers will also help a lot. There’s little that can be done about the marshmallows, but if you swap out the other ingredients with healthier alternatives it should be fine. Just stack them any way you wish (well, I’d put a cracker on the bottom at least) and pop them in the microwave for half a minute!
