While her fellow drag queens embraced the glitz and glamour of the event, Princess Poppy made a jaw-dropping entrance as the fearsome monster. Princess Poppy’s gown, in striking moss green, featured a strapless neckline, intricate pleating, a high-low hem with a unique twist, a train in the back, and an open-back design. She completed the look with long, spiky green nails, a purse covered in punk doll heads and googly eyes, high heels, and quirky accessories like pearls and seashells.
To fully embrace the Goblin look, Princess Poppy used prosthetics for her face, painted her entire body green, donned a white hair wig, and added oversized ears. It was a remarkable transformation, to say the least.
In her Instagram caption, Princess Poppy credited makeup genius Gabe Acero for the astonishing look. Gabe is renowned for his talent in special FX makeup and his visionary approach to transformation. Poppy’s outfit achieved exactly what she had in mind for the evening.
“I wanted to defy the expectations of an event like this. I wanted to challenge the norm,” Poppy explained. “My goal was to embody a troll-slash-hag, to be so shocking that you couldn’t help but turn and look at me—even if it was in the most unconventional way.”
