Calgary’s premium, small-batch ice cream spot featuring 5 locations, Tate loved going to the one located in her neighbourhood. She said the lines were always long, and it was the perfect place to ride a bike to in the summertime. The two most popular flavors on their “Always” menu are Salted Caramel and Melted Chocolate, while customers also look forward to seasonal flavors such as Cinnamon Streusel Cake and Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

Barry’s

So technically Barry’s is based in Los Angeles, but this fitness studio chain has locations all over the world, including in Calgary. It is known for its incredibly challenging workout classes, offering clients rewards and “stars” that can be redeemed for products and services offered by Barry’s. Tate has commented on the difficulty of the classes, calling it the hardest workouts she’s ever done but also very satisfying. She especially enjoys attending with her friends and enjoying one of their recovery smoothies post-workout.
