The iconic Ferris wheel, hundreds of apartment blocks, schools, and public buildings have become symbols of a place frozen at the exact moment normal life ended. Before the full-scale war against Russia, Prypiat had become a major dark-tourism destination, with people from all over the world coming to see the most desolate place on the planet.
