Antarctica

Antarctica is the world’s southernmost continent and is home to a variety of unique wildlife, including penguins, seals, and whales. However, the continent is melting at an alarming rate due to global warming. According to scientists, Antarctica has lost three trillion tons of ice in the last 25 years. If the melting continues at this rate, it is predicted that Antarctica’s ice will disappear entirely by the end of this century. This would have catastrophic consequences for the world, as sea levels would rise by several meters, causing widespread flooding.

Sydney

Sydney is arguably the most worthwhile city to visit Down Under, with its famous beaches, landmarks, and vibrant culture. However, it is not immune from the impacts of global warming. Rising sea level is the culprit here, putting Sydney’s coastal areas at risk of flooding, and extreme heat waves are becoming more frequent and severe.
