13 Small Things That Could Be Making You An Irritating Traveler (3 of 4)

Taking off socks while on your flight

Shoes On A Plane, White, Window

In our opinion, this is wrong enough to qualify as a minor crime. The uncomfortable economy seats with little leg space may make you want to take off your socks and allow your feet to breathe, but don’t ever do that. We know you maintain good hygiene, but walking around the airport gives anyone sweaty and stinky feet. It’s not your fault at all. But, don’t make the passenger seated next to you have to put up with that.

Traveling in wrong clothing

Carry Luggage, Plant, Fashion, Standing

It’s good to value your comfort, but don’t confuse it with laziness. Nobody wants to sit next to someone that hasn’t showered in three days, has messy hair, and looks like they just got out of bed.

You are going on a holiday. Let the excitement show in your face and looks. Put on some neat clothes, pamper yourself with a little makeup and then head out.

Bragging about the number of countries you have traveled to

Bored Talking, Table

We travel for our own enrichment. Exploring different regions improves our outlook and lets us have cherished experiences. What would someone you just met on the flight or at a restaurant do knowing the many different countries you have seen? Travel is an expensive affair and not everyone can afford it or has the time for it. When you start boasting about it, you may be making someone who doesn’t travel as much feel inferior.
