9. Tidewater Architect

Tidewater architects are going to be responsible for monitoring and working with nature when it comes to the rising sea levels. They’ll mostly be supporting civil engineering projects to make sure that the rising sea level doesn’t wipe entire cities off the map or cripples our economy even further than Covid has. It’s still a pretty niche field as of now, but it’ll grow more and more important as the water keeps rising.

10. Human-Machine Teaming Manager

If we want to avoid Terminator-esque scenarios, we’re going to have to learn to work together with our robot overlords. Human-machine teaming managers are going to do just that: they’ll make sure that robots in the workplace can work together with people in a seamless way. This is the fastest rising field on this list, with a whopping 50% increase of job openings in the last quarter of 2021. Robots is definitely the way to go.

The world’s population will likely grow to 8.5 billion by 2030, and we all need to eat. The world will need more farmers to grow food for us to put on the table. The relentless growth in population will probably cause radical changes in the traditional agricultural industry, and new farming methods like vertical farming.

The vertical farmer job won’t be for everyone. There are essential physical demands that this job requires of candidates. As vertical farm rushes high into the sky, it is clear that the ideal candidate can’t be afraid of heights.

Becoming a vertical farmer also requires being physically fit. This job involves spending hours on your feet in high heat, wet and humid conditions. The applicant also should be able to carry bulky equipment and lift heavy weights.
