6. Cristiano Ronaldo — Catholicism

Although it was known that Cristiano Ronaldo collected crucifix necklaces and that in 2016 his mother, Dolores Aveiro, visited the holiest Catholic shrine in Portugal to pray for her son in the lead-up to the Euro Championships, the federation football legend otherwise kept his religious beliefs private. That was until September 2023, when he was officially baptized a Catholic and received his first Holy Communion. He says he goes to church every week and is eager to share his religious knowledge with others.
