4. Grant Them Grace

During disagreements, it’s easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment. But try to see past the frustration or anger of the person beneath. Remember, your partner is (hopefully!) not intentionally trying to hurt you. By offering them some grace and understanding, you acknowledge their humanity and create space for a more productive conversation.

5. Provide Them With an Emotional Safe Space

Your relationship thrives when your partner feels comfortable expressing their emotions, both positive and negative.
