Carney the Family Man

While studying at Oxford, Carney became acquainted with fellow student Diana Fox, who was also seeking a degree in economics. The two got married in July 1994 as he was completing his PhD thesis. They are the parents of four daughters: Sasha, Amelia, Cleo, and Tess.

Sasha, who identifies as non-binary, graduated from Yale University and has won numerous awards for her poetry.

Cleo is currently an undergraduate at Harvard, where she’s majoring in social studies with a minor in energy and the environment.

Amelia recently completed her degree at the University of Edinburgh. If Tess is trying to stay out of the spotlight, she’s doing a very good job. Nothing can be found about her.
