3. $1.78 billion — Missouri and Texas — September 2025
On September 23rd, 2025, two lucky people had winning tickets and will split $1.78 billion between them. One of them bought their ticket at a QuikTrip in St. Louis, while the other got theirs at Big’s 103 in Fredericksburg, Texas. State law allows Missouri winners to remain anonymous. The Texas winner hasn’t been publicly identified, but they certainly have plenty of money to buy a house next to all of the oil company CEOs.
2. $1.81 billion — Cabot, Arkansas — December 2025
This news is fresh from the press! After three months without a single winning jackpot ticket, somebody bought one at a Murphy USA gas station in Cabot, Arkansas, on Christmas Eve, 2025. If they opt for the lump sum, they’ll take home around $900 million. Because the vetting process takes weeks, it will be some time before the winning person is identified. But they’ll certainly have some extra cash to carry around once they receive it!
