6. Patience goes a long way
The best way to prepare younger generations is by passing along knowledge with patience and understanding rather than through frustration and contempt. When teaching life skills, such as how to balance a budget, you recognize that their experience with money is limited. When your children or grandchildren get into an argument and lose their cool, you are fully aware that they need guidance with conflict resolution, much like you did when you were their age. Teaching them with kindness goes a long way.

We understand that maybe the boss was just having a bad day or the friend didn’t realize their actions were being perceived as rude. Ultimately, nobody is perfect, and the best approach is to move past it.
