6. Recognize Your Progress
As you are working on a task, the best approach is to split it into smaller parts and stages. Think of it in the same way that you work on your long-term goals. For instance, when you decide you want to lose 30lb, you break it down into smaller milestones such as every time you drop 5lb. The same should apply as it relates to your work. Don’t merely track your progress; appreciate that you are making progress! This will allow you to look at the big picture, which will motivate you to continue progressing.

7. Stop Multitasking
If you work on three things at the same time, studies have shown you are likely to only concentrate 20% of your efforts on each respective task while spending 60% of your time making a transition between them. This is highly inefficient to say the least! In addition, when you focus on one task, you will obviously finish it more quickly, and you’ll feel satisfied that there is one less thing to worry about!
