Learn Self-Control
We can accept that children have tantrums, but as a mature adult, you’re pretty much expected to have your emotions in check. We don’t really care how you do it, you can do yoga or drink a daily bottle of wine, whatever floats your boat. Just don’t let your emotions spill over onto other people – we’re all dealing with our own issues now.
Be Persistent
Adulthood also comes hand in hand with this thing called failure. You’re going to make plans, you’re going to work towards them, and life is going to throw you a curveball and ruin everything. Just start over. Bad experiences will form your character just as much as the good ones will, so this is no reason to give up and stop being a mature adult. It’s not like that’s something you can stop being anyway.
