4. Accept that not all of your interests are exciting to us
Although the key to a good relationship is by finding hobbies and interests that you share, the reality is we’re not going to be into a lot of the girlie things that you enjoy, such as shopping for clothes or getting pedicures. Likewise, you might not be thrilled to watch those “meaningless” baseball games with him. And this is all perfectly okay. So there are really two approaches to this: either take part in his interests in exchange for him tagging along when you want to run errands, or just agree to find something else to do when the other is off doing their “boring” thing.
