If either of you are bored or quickly realize that the date isn’t going anywhere, there’s a natural tendency to want to wrap things up. This could mean declining dessert or a post-meal coffee. On the other hand, if you both are feeling great and have a desire to extend the date — perhaps by adding more activities into the plans — it was definitely a good date.
8. They straight up ask you when you’re available to meet again
This one is pretty obvious. Times have changed. Proper etiquette used to dictate that you wait a few days before calling your date to ask if they would be interested in seeing you again. But today, if you’re both feeling good at the end of the evening, there’s nothing wrong with messaging him/her right before you go to bed to ask if they want to meet again. After all, who has time to wait 2 or 3 days when we’re in contact with so many people these days?
