Wearing jersey fabric
Clothing made of wool, cotton, and synthetic fabric is the type of clothing when draping over your figure will accentuate parts of your figure you don’t want to enhance.
Turtlenecks
Even if it’s for the sake of warmth, a turtleneck still tells others that the extra fabric could be hiding something.
Shapewear
Similar to turtlenecks, these articles of clothing give off the impression you’re hiding something. You can mitigate the damages though by looking for shapewear that smooth over the lines of age and time. Spanx is a good option.
Chunky heels
Unless it’s a black-tie event, chunky heels aren’t worth it. They can make your bottom half look heavier. It’s better to look proportional for special occasions.
Silk scarves
Scarves accent any outfit and draw attention – and sometimes that attention is unwanted. For example, if you’re already showing wrinkles and lines around your neck, a scarf can seem sensible to hide them, but like the turtleneck, it can seem like you’re hiding imperfections while drawing attention to them. It also makes your top half look heavier too.
