Wheat Crackers & Turkey

Turkey slices are great and if you go for the low-sodium options that’s even better. The protein from them is particularly filling and the crackers also provide you with the fiber.

Cooked Edamame

Edamame Beans, Food, Broad bean, Plant, Bean, Ingredient

For those not familiar with this food, it’a bean and a pretty healthy one at that. Beans in general are pretty filling but edamame are especially high in protein and fiber. All you have to do is cook them up. What’s also nice about this particular snack is since you are frying them, you can toss in other spices. Our suggestion is red pepper flakes and garlic once you’ve cooked them up.

Hummus & Grape Tomatoes

Vegetarian Food, Food, Tableware, Ingredient, Recipe, Fines herbes, Dishware

Sabra is the big company behind hummus and is a good option for good quality hummus. For those not familiar with hummus it’s a dip that’s made out of beans. From a health standpoint, you know already that beans are very filling and have plenty of fiber and protein.

Naturally you need something to dip it in with and that’s where grape (or cherry) tomatoes come in. Tomatoes offer melatonin which again helps you to sleep better.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Vegan Banana Oatmeal Cookies, Food, Tableware, Ingredient, Recipe

For this particular snack you’re going to have to bake these yourself. Either from a box (if a company has even invented this yet) or gathering raw ingredients. Nevertheless this is a pretty easy recipe as all you need is rolled oats, half of a banana and a tablespoon of cacao nibs.

From there, form two small mounds, flatten them and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

These treats are incredible as they satisfy your sweet tooth while also not being very high in calories. Each serving is about 152 calories. The ingredients mentioned are a great source in fiber, potassium, and other antioxidants to help you with late night snacking. Considering how nutritious these are, these could also pass as breakfast too.
