Puffy face
Puffiness or swelling of the face doesn’t hinder you from performing your everyday duties effectively so the idea of seeing a doctor for something seemingly harmless feels not needed. While it is true that a high amount of sodium diet or too much alcohol consumption can puff up your face, it can also be an indication of a tumor. Tumors limit the free flow of blood causing more of it to amass in some of the body parts.
Frequent heartburn

Heartburn does freak us out but we are back to our normal routine the moment it is gone. We attribute it to our unhealthy diet and demanding schedule. Not many know that a frequent sensation of heartburn can be a sign of Barrett’s esophagus and which when not treated can transition to a more serious esophageal cancer.
Difficulty swallowing
A sore throat due to cold or flu makes swallowing uneasy. But if you are all good otherwise and still have a choking feeling when you eat, you must book an appointment with an ENT doctor at once to ascertain the root cause. Esophageal cancer comes with such a sign. Waiting for other symptoms can put you in a risky stop because they do not show up until you have ascended to an advanced stage.
