These years witnessed a swim look which was something between the glamorous, star-studded vibe and minimalistic, sophisticated look. And more than the bikini, we think the trend was set due to Kim, as she doesn’t fail to make style statements even to this date.

2009-2012

Futuristic cutouts and minimalistic shapes teamed up with streamlined colors was the tone back in those days. Miranda Kerr walks on a fashion show runway here where she has paired up the look with a long dangling robe styled into a shrug hanging from her shoulders. Scientific fiction vibes much?

The style from the 70s was back as Gigi made a fashion statement that set the trend for quite a few years. Crochet detailing, criss-cross designs, and low waist bottoms were back in style. We may have a new trend set its foot every year, but you can rest assured that we’re never exiting the loop of low waists and high waists, solids and prints, or minimalism and glamorous.
