Movie dates never fail
If you can’t think of anything else, tell your crush that you have two tickets to a movie and your friend ditched you. Tell them you’d like it if they tagged along and voila! Did you just set up a date?
Set up a date (but, casually!)
If you’re not there to ask them out to dinner yet, ask them out on a casual date. An ice cream date or a movie wouldn’t hurt. Share with them your plan, or say that you are just craving scones badly, and that you’d love it if they joined. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Throw in random bets
Try to keep the chasing process interesting. Throw in a casual bet saying you’d probably give your crush five dollars if your teacher repeats the same sentence thrice. Make your chit-chats with them interesting and lively.
Let them know you have a life
If you seem too available or free, they might just lose interest in you. Keep the chase adventurous, and keep yourself busy. And don’t forget to let them know that you’re busy, and even if you aren’t – a little lie might just go a long way.
Cover it up with a meme
Sometimes it gets hard to compliment our crush directly, and god forbid if they don’t know how to react to it – oops, awkward. The best way to deal with this is to mask it with a meme. Send in a whacky meme that tells them that they’re cute or sweet upon decoding. You can never go wrong with memes.
