Set in Berlin, Mute traces the story of a mute man who is trying to solve the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend, when he finds himself in a tricky situation with two United States Army surgeons. The movie was a clueless mess and the critics came down heavily on this flick for being completely horrible in terms of storyline and filmmaking as a whole.

Brain on Fire traces the story of a New York Post journalist who starts having severe seizures without any apparent reason. Even the doctors find her situation bizarre, and her health goes out of control until a doctor does find a potential cure that can treat her condition. The movie was panned by critics for being too boring.

The Open House is a horror flick that revolves around a mother-son duo who decide to stay at their relative’s vacation home after they find themselves in a bad situation following a tragedy. However, they soon find out that dark forces are trying to harm them and there doesn’t seem to be a way out of it. Critics didn’t like the movie and called it an unimaginative movie that repeats the same tropes over and over again.
