She joked about “failing” as a superhero
If you’re still reading this article (and obviously you are since it’s such a blast), it’s clearly been established that Johnson recognizes that life is too short to take things seriously. This even extends to making fun of her own career. Her 2024 superhero movie, Madame Web, was a box office failure, and she openly acknowledges it.
While appearing on the YouTube series Hot Ones, host Sean Evans mentioned that he was “no superhero” as they struggled through the show’s notoriously spicy chicken wings. Johnson looked toward the camera and delivered a brutally concise response. “I’m also not a superhero. Tried. Failed.” She made no attempt to defend the massive turd of a movie or change the subject. Instead, Dakota did what she does best: she kept it real.

She used to hide hair extensions in men’s pockets
During a 2022 Vanity Fair interview with her former The Social Network co-star Andrew Garfield, Johnson revealed that there are no limits to her sneakiness. This was especially true when she was in her 20s. As she explained, she would often wear hair extensions to parties, and after she was sufficiently buzzed she would make a game out of stuffing those extensions into men’s jacket pockets. When Garfield asked why specifically men’s pockets, Dakota gave the most Dakota answer ever: “Because they’re so available.” Makes perfect sense!
