Jennfer was the other celebrity whose campaign made it through an election. She entered the 2021 California gubernatorial recall election as a Republican replacement candidate to oust Gavin Newsom. Her campaign struggled to gain traction and was never taken all that seriously. She ultimately lost, securing just about 1% of the replacement vote, while Newsom was retained, with 61.9% of the voters voting against recalling him versus 38.1% who wanted him gone.
