Ultimately, he chose not to throw his hat into the ring, expressing a deep aversion to political division as well as his commitment to his daughters. He also said he wished he hadn’t endorsed Joe Biden in 2020 because of the backlash he received from many of his fans.

After giving a powerful speech at the 2018 Golden Globes, there was huge buzz at the thought that Winfrey might finally run for president, something that had been speculated on for a couple of decades thanks to her unmatched popularity amongst the public.
