9 Of Donald Trump’s Most Memorable Cameos (3 of 5)

The Nanny (1996)

Remember that time when Fran called Trump a zillionaire? That wasn’t really what the script said at first. In fact, the whole cameo is more famous for what happened behind the scenes than what the cameras caught. Originally, Fran was supposed to refer to Trump as a millionaire, but Trump’s team objected and wanted the line changed because he was supposedly a billionaire. So, as a compromise, they went with “zillionaire.” That day, Trump’s insecurities must have been visible from space.

Sex and the City (1999)

In Season 2, Episode 8 of Sex and the City, Donald Trump makes a brief appearance during a bar scene. As Carrie Bradshaw’s voiceover remarks, “Samantha, a cosmopolitan, and Donald Trump. You just don’t get more New York than that,” the camera cuts to Trump seated nearby, underscoring his status at the time as a recognizable symbol of New York wealth and celebrity.
