Tanner didn’t appear until season 3, and frankly speaking, there wasn’t much lead-up when the character was introduced. Nonetheless, Burn Gorman’s portrayal of this arrogant, narcissistic criminal made him unforgettable. And his epic duel with Jon Snow was one of the most thrilling fights on the show up to that point.
13. Lysa Arryn
She initially starts off as a protagonist, but her obsession with Littlefinger and her willingness to be manipulated by him lead her to make choices that put her in villain territory, such as denying help to the House of Stark—her own family!—when they’re under siege by the Lannisters. She ultimately meets a villain’s end when Littlefinger dramatically pushes her out of her own Moon Door after he no longer needs her.
