Can You Believe Half of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Kids Are Almost Adults?

It may be a surprise to many, but it has been a number of years since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were in love and started their family together. It has actually been a whole decade since their family began to form. And even though the two are still in a very intense divorce, they are still co-parenting their children. They have a total of six kids: Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, and a set of twins, Vivienne and Knox. 

Brangelina’s fans may remember their kids as young toddlers, but actually, many of them are getting older and are growing into young adults. Angelina reflected on her kids with People Magazine, saying, “They’re pretty great people and because there’s so many of them, I think they’ve had a very significant effect on each other. It’s not like I’m the head of anything. I’m very honest with my kids. And I’m very human with my kids.”

She went on to talk more about how they are all very different and what it is like to be a mother to them all. “I have six very individual human beings in my home. I am so excited about all the different stages and feelings and curiosities that they go through. Why wouldn’t you be?” she continued. “We’re supposed to help them figure out who they are. And you can’t figure out who they are if you don’t enthusiastically develop with them.”

Angelina also mentioned how her kids have actually helped her in some ways too. “My children have done many, many loving things. My children’s kindness has been very healing to me.”

Brad has also commented on his feelings about being a father to his kids. “My dad always said he wanted to give me a better life than he had coming from extreme poverty, and he did it. And it makes me think, as a dad, what do I have to offer that’s better than I had, to my kids?”

He also talked about how he wants his kids to grow up and chase the things they want. “I want them to follow their bliss, follow their passions, whatever they’re most interested in,” he told reporters. “It’s about guiding as you can, but they get to try everything on and try what their passion is.”

They have both discussed at length how they feel about being parents to their six kids. They first became parents together when they adopted their son Maddox in 2005. They later adopted their daughter, Zahara. Then, in 2006, they adopted their daughter, Shiloh. Just one year later, They adopted their son Pax, and then Angelina gave birth to their twins Knox and Vivienne later in 2008. 

With such a wonderful family growing, Angelina and Brad, unfortunately, broke things off in 2016. This is only two years after they officially tied the knot with each other.
