Rose McGowan
Although Rose McGowan hasn’t been a stranger to controversy, she certainly didn’t deserve the treatment she’s received since making allegations in 2017 that Harvey Weinstein had sexually assaulted her in the late 1990s. Weinstein seemed to go out of his way to make sure she didn’t work in Hollywood again. McGowan seems to have been validated (Weinstein was convicted in New York and California and sentenced to a total of 40 years in prison) and devotes her time to speaking out against the film industry’s rape culture problem.

Cee-Lo Green
Although Cee-Lo Green began his musical career all the way back in the mid-90s as a member of the Southern hip-hop group Goodie Mob, it wasn’t until 2006 that he found success as half of the soul duo Gnarls Barkley with their breakout hit “Crazy.” His 2010 solo album Lady Killer made him a household name and helped him land a spot as a judge on “The Voice.” But slipping ecstasy into a woman’s drink (for which he pleaded guilty) and tweeting that a person can’t be raped if they don’t remember it turned out to be terrible career moves. He hasn’t been in the spotlight much since, although he did sing the national anthem at the 2022 NBA Finals, something that angered a whole lot of people.
