It’s important to exhibit a healthy degree of skepticism, but this dog has some real concerns about who you are and what you represent. Be warned: he’s keeping his eyes on you, and if he had fingers you better believe he would do that gesture where he points his index and middle fingers at his eyes and then at yours.

13. Sweet passage of time

In the first photo (taken in May 2019), the baffled puppy is discovering for the very first time that the glassy/plastic device thingy speaks in his adopted mother’s voice and can communicate directly with him! In the second photo (taken in February 2023), the now 4-year-old takes it for granted that every video chat call is for him.
