The 7 Best Movies Where The Hero is Also the Villain (4 of 4)

The Machinist

It’s been a while since we’ve had a Christan Bale movie on here, hasn’t it? It’s a less-known movie, but IMDB rates it higher than “American Psycho” so that’s probably everything you need to know about its quality. It’s just a movie that deals with insomnia at first, but it slowly unfolds into the story of man dealing with his own demons and guilt.

Shutter Island

Scorsese and DiCaprio have always been a cinematic match made in Heaven, and this movie about a U.S. Marshall investigating a disappearance in an insane asylum has some of the most lovely twists you can imagine. It also has an ending that’ll keep you talker longer than “Inception” did, probably. Oh, and the story makes more sense than Inception did, too. If you somewhat liked Inception, watch this movie is what I’m saying.
