Many artists struggle with vocal chord issues sooner or later and Adele wasn’t immune to this either. She had to cancel a full tour because of a vocal hemorrhage that required surgery. During her recovery the doctors told her she had to be silent for six weeks. If you’ve ever seen Adele do an interview or go on a talk show, you can imagine that this must have been a pretty rough period for her!

The Spice Girls became the biggest stars on the planet when Adele was seven, so she’s always been a huge fan of their music. Add to the fact that these were girls from the UK that came from mostly humble backgrounds, and it’s really no wonder that Adele was such a huge fan of them. An argument could be made that Adele has already surpassed the levels of fame the Spice Girls had, however, so maybe they should look up to her instead of the other way around.

While Adele isn’t as big a drinker as she used to be, her tendency to drink and tweet has almost gotten her in trouble a bunch of times. It actually got to the point where her management decided that two separate people have to approve her tweets before they get sent out. She does write them herself though, but someone else has to do the posting just in case.
