Funny and Relatable Cat Owner Tweets (3 of 6)

This Cat Needs to Be Informed

People like treating animals, especially their own pets, like human beings. Most people leave their pets out of the discussions at the veterinarian’s office, but this particular animal doctor feels that it’s important for the cat to be aware of his own health problems. We wonder if communicating with cats is something he learned in school.

Maybe if this cat is aware of his health problems he’ll take snacking a little more seriously. He’ll stop being his owners for treats and won’t complain when they cut his portions down. Feline obesity needs to be taken seriously, and this kitty needs to be in on the diet plan if he wants to nip that problem in the bud.

That’s What We Call SKILL

This is called making lemonade out of lemons. This poor kitty was dealt a very bad hand, and they decided to make the most of it. He wondered if there was a way to make this weird thing on his head worthwhile. Then he saw the taco just sitting there on the table and thought: “This is my chance”.

He turned an unfortunate situation into a delicious one! The taco was nothing like the dry cat food he eats every day. It was fresh, tangy, and had a hint of spice. He would definitely recommend using this method to his fellow felines. He’s just discovered the trick of the century!

It’s Just Common Sense

Our pets decide who our friends are. It’s an unspoken rule that everyone has agreed upon. If you walk into your friend’s house and the cat starts to hiss at you, you better turn around and walk out that door! Cats have good judgment of character, so if they dislike someone, there must be a good reason. And even if there isn’t one, we aren’t really in charge.

The cat will eventually cause the unwanted person to want to leave anyway. They always get their way. If you can’t handle a cat with an attitude, maybe you should consider getting a pet that’s a little less opinionated… like a dog for example.

This Human is Unfamiliar…

It’s always hilarious when animals decide to stand on two legs. This cat was so shaken that he morphed into a human when he saw a stranger in his house. He wasn’t sure what to do at the moment. He doesn’t remember his mom telling him she was going away. Does he call the police?

He figured that if he pretended to be a statue the person wouldn’t notice he’s there. We wonder how long the cat was stuck in this position. Cats are known for being the best animals at staring contests. Try it, next time you see a cat, stare at them. Their wide eyes will gawk back at you and you’ll be forced to look away.

Allergy Season Is No Joke

It’s ironic, isn’t it? We, humans, are always sneezing around our cats, but now the tables have turned. Is there such a thing as a human allergy? That’d be pretty bizarre. That might explain why our pets run away from us sometimes. They’re just doing their best to avoid getting an allergic reaction. Allergies aside, this cat looks like he’s the king of the selfies.

We know he was mid-sneeze, but he still looks like he’s “cheesing”. We’re sure he’s been forced to take so many pictures, he’s probably learned to master them no matter what. He just makes really weird faces until he eventually gets a good picture. Even in the middle of sneezing this cat is looking fierce!

He Claims He Was Having A Nightmare

Cats love to bother their humans. It’s like the act of being annoying makes them happy. This snoozy ball of fluff woke up his human, only to go back to sleep himself. We think the owner should’ve woken him up as revenge. Just kidding, we could never do that to our cats! They can bother us all they like, but the minute we see their cute faces we instantly forget what they’ve done.

It’s like they have a magical power over us, that gives them permission to do anything and get away with it. That’s just the reality of being so cute, everyone gives you a pass. If only that worked with humans too, we can’t quite do as we please with no repercussions!

Best Hide-And-Seek Player EVER!

Playing hide-and-seek is only fun when the one hiding does a good job. This kitten is the ultimate player. Her owners couldn’t find her for an entire hour! That’s what you call talent. We’re sure that they began to worry, but this kitten knew she would be found at some point. She wanted to give her parents a challenge, so she didn’t make any noise.

Eventually, she gave up and crawled out of the tissue box. She was starting to get a tad hungry. Her owners should put a little bell around her neck, it seems like she’s a champion at staying hidden. Is there an Olympic award for this skill?

It Just Looked SO Delicious

If we haven’t convinced you by now that cats are like children, this photo will do the trick. “No” is the word that all kids hear, but doesn’t register as being a valid answer. They know that it sounds like something negative, but they can’t seem to accept it as a reasonable response.

Much like a kid, this cat was told he couldn’t touch the cinnamon rolls, but naturally, he didn’t hear any of that. The smell was too good to resist. He’s genuinely confused by his parent’s hostile reaction to him grabbing at the rolls. He just wanted to feel the gooey warmth on his fingertips. How could you even say no to that face?

The Pizza Was In Their Spot

This is the epitome of cat behavior. This genius cat knows exactly what people’s weaknesses are, and he plays right to them. When people order pizza, all they want to do is rip open that box and grab a warm cheesy slice. This angry cat won’t let you go anywhere near the precious pie until he gets the catnip he was promised a few hours earlier.

He demands to get what he’s owed and won’t settle for any less. In the meantime, you can eat an apple, or a celery stick, because this pizza isn’t going anywhere. The look in his eye should be an indication enough that he’s not playing around. His next step is to knock the box over. You’d better give him his catnip soon!

If There Isn’t Cat Hair Everywhere, Do You Really Have A Cat?

Only the computer screen? If you own a cat, you know that there’s cat hair everywhere! You’ll open your fridge and somehow the hair managed to get in there too. Your closet is 50% clothes and the other 50% is fur. It’s unavoidable. It’s just one of the things we ignore because we love our pets so much.

Vacuuming is a daily chore, and everyone sneezes when they walk into your house, but they’ll just have to deal with it. If you desperately want a cat, but just can’t stand the idea of hair everywhere, get a Sphynx. Those bald cuties won’t leave any fuzzy residue on your couch or carpet.

Those Two-faced Little Rascals!

Cats can be model pets until they aren’t. They’re loyal only to a certain extent. Sometimes they want to stay indoors and play with their owners, but other times they secretly plan an escape. It’s not that they are ungrateful. We can understand the feeling of being trapped indoors for long periods of time.

It can feel like a prison. So we relate to these cats that want to break free from the confines of their home. It’s perfectly normal. We just have to hope that if they do run away, they’ll want to come back. It’s hard to know exactly what goes on in those tiny little minds.
