Do You Follow the Rules or Break Them?

Cat people just can’t resist petting a fluffy friend. Some individuals are such feline fanatics that they’ll even stop to stroke kitties out on the street. However, what’s a cat lover to do when confronted with a sign like this? You’re clearly instructed not to touch the cat…but it’s a cat! How can you resist a sweet face like that?

You completely forgot the reason you approached the ice cream freezer in the first place. If you had to choose between the two you’d definitely decide to not disturb the kitty. The real question here is how this cat got into the store in the first place. Maybe he’s lost and still trying to find the aisle with the catnip.

A Cat with a Paw on the Pulse of World News

Have you ever caught your cat staring very intently at something? When they’re not asleep, felines have a way of hyper focusing on one particular object. It’s as if they’re meditating on some kind of deep thought. Sometimes the television will catch their attention and make it appear that they’re interested in whatever’s going on.

This particular cat seems to be especially worldly. He’s interested in everything that’s going on in the world, the thought of war and conflict keeps him up at night and he needs to stay tuned. He probably learned this behavior from his parents! Better change it to another channel before they start stressing the cat out.

But Was the Photo Worth It?

We all know that pets have a way of getting into your food. Better not leave a tasty meal on the table, even if you’re only turning away for a second. Cats are agile climbers and know how to jump. If your eyes are off your plate your pasta is in peril. You’d think you’d be able to rely on your significant other to help you out, but that’s not always the case.

Clearly, this photo was too good to pass up. However, if this was our pasta we’d be pretty upset to see that it was compromised. Though eventually, we’re sure their girlfriend got over it and agreed that the picture was worth the sacrifice.

That’s One Smart Kitty

Making sure your furry friend has clean, fresh water is super important. You need to make sure you swap it out whenever it begins to get stale. But no matter how recently you refilled the water bowl, it’s never going to be as crisp as H2O straight from the fridge. This kitty was smart enough to figure out how to get the good stuff.

We can imagine it was a major difference for him, we’re not surprised that he’s totally hooked on the stuff. Though we’re not sure how sanitary it is, you might want to wipe it down. Someone should invent some kind of a pipe that allows the cat to dispense his own fresh fridge water.

This Is How A Family Grows

Losing a sock is a common annoyance. We all know that sending two socks to wash and dry usually results in just one returning. When we check the sock drawer we’re used to a mismatched surprise. A few socks don’t all look the same. It’s not a game-changer. There’s also the occasional furry friend waiting, too! What? This isn’t the norm for your bedroom?

Not only does this person not have a cat; they’ve never even met this one. Is it the holidays? How’d she get there?  Regardless of how, that’s her new home. Do us a favor and give her some privacy. She’s busy.

I’m America’s Next Top Feline

Fashion is a complex game we all participate in. One day your outfit is catwalk ready, and the next day it’s not. Trends come and go, but some items are truly forever. Open-toed kitten heels (modeled by actual cats) are a legacy item everyone should have. It’s just so difficult finding the right fit for our pet’s paws. This might be an untapped market.

There are already famous cat influencers, who’s to say one shouldn’t dominate a real catwalk? It’s in the name of the species! Pawsitively Purrfect Fashion (we should trademark that) is going to take the world by storm. Look at Mittens here modeling the first of the collection. Fierce.

Have You Considered Mungojerrie or Rumpleteazer?

The subject of naming a pet can be a touchy one, everyone has their own input to add. Even people outside of the family want to give their two cents about your furry friend’s new name. Dog owners have a tendency to give their fur babies real human names, like Tom or Georgina. Cat owners are a whole different story…

Cats can be such absurd animals that it wouldn’t fit to give them a regular person’s name. It’s a lot more fun to give them silly names like Rum Tum Tugger or Grizabella, T. S. Eliot definitely had the right idea in mind when naming his feline characters. Feel free to draw on the famous musical for inspiration!

“If I Don’t Fits I Will MAKE it Fits!”

you’ve heard the famous feline saying, “if it fits I sit”. Well, cats have a tendency to stretch this old proverb as far as it will go. You might see a tiny box and think there’s no way your cat will fit, but they willingly accept the challenge. Do cats like to feel small? That’s the only explanation we can come up with.

This kitty took all the time he needed to put all four paws on this tiny white envelope. The tasks a cat will commit to are beyond human comprehension. They might be totally bizarre to us, but to them, it would seem that the fate of the world depends on it.

The Difference Between Dog and Cat People

Dog people and cat people have a few key differences. Many canine fanatics are highly protective of their pups and refuse to hear a single ill word about them. However, cat owners are a lot more realistic. You’ve got to be a little cynical after living with a cat long enough! Cat people don’t need to sugarcoat things, they’re fully aware of all feline faults.

Encountering a cat hater is the least of their worries. After all, what can they say that they don’t already know? The things people tend to dislike about kitties are a cat lover’s favorite thing about them. So if you want to call your friend’s cat an asshole save your breath, they already know!

Children Can Be Smart Sometimes

Owning a cat is a good enough reason to get one. You don’t need to have a good explanation when you decide that you want a feline friend. BUT, if you are looking for a reason, we have quite a few. Cats are the only pets that’ll both terrify and love you at the same time. Their fur is soft like a pillow, and you won’t want to stop petting it.

They’ll often run away, but they always bring back a gift! When you cuddle with them, you can hear a faint purring sound that’ll put you in a state of relaxation and contentment that you didn’t even know you needed. Are those enough reasons? We think so.
