David Caruso

Known mostly for his 10 years of playing as Horatio Caine on CSI: Miami David Caruso retired from acting after that. He never made a formal announcement, however the 2012 cancellation of the procedural seemed to be what sparked it.
He could’ve looked for another gig in Hollywood, but instead decided to open an art gallery in California. These days he makes a point of avoiding the spotlight, however, fans will always remember the 65-year-old man for his role in the CSI series and for his work in NYPD Blue.
Lisa Bonet
Lisa Bonet was another child actor who rose to fame as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show – a show that was popular back in the day and clearly hasn’t aged well at all under the circumstances. Though Bonet distancing herself from acting isn’t so much for that reason.
Bonet is now 53 years old and while she hasn’t made an official announcement she is leaving acting, her recent resume speaks of her lack of interest in acting.
She had a recurring role in Ray Donovan in 2016 and has appeared on various TV shows like Girls, Drunk History and New Girl. Her only acting capacity was in a short called Jellywolf in 2017.
Terrence Howard

Starting his career back in 1992 in All My Children, Terrence Howard made it big with the film Hustle & Flow along with the music industry drama Empire. But shortly after that show ended, he announced his official retirement despite the amount of success those projects brought him.
In a 2019 Extra interview, the now 52-year-old actor stated: “Oh, I’m done with acting. I’m done pretending. I’m just focusing on bringing truth to the world.”
Despite that statement though, his mind may have been changed a bit as Howard mentioned he has a few projects in post-production. Maybe we’ll be seeing more of him, but it’s hard to say right now.
Selma Blair
She’s been in several popular films over the years including Cruel Intentions, Hellboy and Legally Blonde, but despite all of that her career may be over. The 49-year-old star has been very open with her living experiences and fans know that she is dealing with multiple sclerosis. She’s said as much in a new documentary about it called Introducing Selma Blair.
Despite all that, in an interview with Variety, she did seem open to possibly accepting another role.
“Yes, if there’s the right thing—I’m not going to try and insinuate myself somewhere. I’m not someone that’s been nagged by ambition.”
