Now 44, Jessica is an odd one in this list as she hasn’t blatantly lied about her age. But neither has she been direct about it either. For a while, her age was a mystery and that was done on purpose.

To the actress, she sees herself as someone who desires to play different ages. As such, she doesn’t bring up her age as that would clearly affect the roles that she gets.

Nicki Minaj

For years, Nicki Minaj has kept her age a secret, however it was exposed amongst another conflict.

Whenever age was brought up, she consistently told her fans she was born in 1984. However that illusion was shattered once she was involved in a fight in 2011.

In the police report that followed, it was revealed she was born in 1982 and was a full two years older than what she’s told her fans. As such, she’s actually 38 now, not 36.

Rebel Wilson

In 2018, when fans thought she was 28 years old, a former classmate of Rebel Wilson shared a picture of her high school years with Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine. This act revealed that the Pitch Perfect star was in reality 36 at the time. She’s now 41.

She made it very clear why she lied about her age. In an interview in WHO Magazine she stated:

“Being an actress it affects women more than men in terms of ageism and sexism so to be called out by the press on something most sensible business-minded people would have done in my position, it was a bit hurtful. When you’re an actor, you have what’s called a playing range; to me, it’s not really beneficial having your age written anyway.”
