Quite a few trends are making a comeback this year, and second-skin tops are one of them. Marine Serre’s moon-print top was worn by both Beyoncé and Adele this year, and perhaps that is the reason why it is trending so much. The outfits were worn with either layering pieces or tucked inside with high waistline outfits.
Light fabrics

Going with the trend of comfortable clothing outfits from last year, the SS2021 had a lot of sheer, light fabrics on offer that would just float off your body. Jil Sander and Acne outfits were all layered in an elegant fashion and came in all color hues.

Bras

While it may not be a mainstream trend, visible bras were quite popular in SS2021 with Moda Operandi showing a three time increase in sales compared to the previous year. The best way to feature it is with straps and the top of the bra is slightly visible.
Big necklaces

Statement pendants with long chains were quite in vogue at the SS2021. Dior and Chloe have a great piece on offer with a laidback feel to it.
Practical totes

There has been quite a surprising increase in demand for classic handbags given the fact that most of us are working from home, and even retailers are surprised by the spike. We saw a number of practical bags to extravagant beach bags at SS2021. Camel leather bags from Nanushka and beach bags from Atluzarra were the most popular.
House slippers

While most people continue to work from home, it isn’t really a secret that house slippers will be in increasing demand even in 2021. And SS2021 took full note of it with designers trying their best to incorporate cool designs with practicality to match demand. The ones by Net-a-Porter were quite trendy while Row has designed a leather texture slipper. Similar ones were offered by Coach, Roksanda, and Balenciaga at SS2021 as well.
