Eating These Foods On Your First Date Might Affect Your Marriage In The Future, Says Survey

From deciding what to wear to obsessing over the choice of venue, there is already too much to fret about on a first date. There isn’t any scope for a new element to fret about when your sole focus is on impressing your date. Unfortunately, things often don’t work out as we expect them to. A new study, however, indicates that people should be more careful with what food they order on their first outing. According to a recent OnBuy survey, there is a strong correlation between the kind of food you order on your first date and the chances of you getting a divorce.

For this survey, the OnBuy team asked over five thousand people what food they ordered on their first outing and what the current status of their marriage was. Based on the answers they received, the team tried to connect the dots and calculate the average length of a marriage based on the food they ordered on the initial outing. While Mediterranean, French, and Italian restaurants were revealed as great for having a long-lasting marriage, some other cuisines didn’t quite bode well for one’s marriage.

Keep scrolling to find out the cuisines that can end one’s marriage, and also find out the cuisines that lead to the shortest marriages and highest divorce rates – something to think about before you pick the place of your first date!
