Going on a first date can be jittery for most people. From deciding your dress for the date to picking the venue, there is a lot to think about. But what most people ignore (and later regret) is the drink they would order! A recent survey reveals that no matter how insignificant it seems, the cocktail you end up ordering at your date ends up deciding whether you get to go on a second one or not.
Conducted by One Poll for popular whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s, the survey was tasked with asking questions such as drinks that make a reasonably good impression, and which ones do not to a group of 2000 Americans.
The survey results revealed that over sixty-two percent of participants believe that one can know a lot about a person just by knowing their favorite drink. Another thirty-two percent believed that having a poor choice in drinks would make them rethink before going on a second date with that person. Interestingly, men were twice as likely to judge a person by their choice of drink, with sixty percent revealing that a poor choice in drinks will be a deal-breaker for them.
So, what’s the drink you should totally avoid ordering if you are desperately wanting to impress your date? Keep scrolling to find out which drinks to order and which ones to avoid.
