Robin Thicke came to Tinseltown as a hot singer. His song “Blurred Lines” popularised him and kickstarted his career. However, this was the same song that kicked him down also. The song did sound a lot like Marvin Gaye’s “Got to give it up”, and Robin was sued for plagiarism. Things got even worse when his next album, Paula, was released. He dedicated it to his wife to win her heart back. “Love can grow back”, “Still madly crazy”, “Get her back” were some of the songs that weren’t accepted well by the public. The album ended up being a flop and so was Robin’s career.
